Terms of use
The rules for using this website, and how our quotes, pricing, and the two-week install guarantee work.
Last updated: 4 June 2026
This website is operated by Service Tech Approach Ltd (ABN [CLIENT: ABN]), trading as Energy Cost Saver, the price-led tier of Solar Uptime. By using this site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Quotes and pricing
Our 8K anchor price is for a standard residential install of the SoFar 25 kWh battery. Site-specific factors such as a switchboard upgrade, long cable runs, or your inverter setup can change the final figure. We confirm anything site-specific on the quote call before you commit, so there are no surprises after install day.
Prices, product specifications, rebates, and timeframes shown on this site are a guide and can change. Nothing on this website is a contract or a binding offer. A binding agreement only exists once we give you a written quote and you accept it in writing.
The two-week install guarantee
When you accept your quote, we lock your install schedule. If we don't install within the agreed two-week window for reasons within our control, we credit you back. The credit-back amount and the full conditions are set out in your written quote. Delays outside our control, such as weather, network or grid approvals, or access issues at your property, don't count toward the window.
General information only
The content on this site is general information about our products and service. It isn't financial, legal, or electrical advice for your specific property. Your actual savings, rebate eligibility, and system design depend on your home, your usage, and current programs. We confirm all of that for your site as part of the quote.
Intellectual property
The text, images, logos, and design on this site are owned by us or our group and are protected by copyright. You can view and print pages for your own use in considering our service. You can't copy, republish, or use our content for any other purpose without our written permission.
Acceptable use
Use the site lawfully. Don't try to interfere with it, gain unauthorised access, scrape it at scale, or submit false information through our forms.
Links to other sites
We link to our parent brand Solar Uptime, and to other sites for your convenience. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Liability
Our goods and services come with guarantees that can't be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits those rights. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website, and the information on the site is provided without warranties as to accuracy or completeness. Where our liability can be limited, it's limited to resupplying the relevant service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You and we submit to the courts of Queensland.
